I love decorating for all seasons but after the Holidays I begin to put away all my winter decor and I think whats next? Its too early to start decorating for spring so what is a girl to do? What about Valentines Day? The stores are getting in on it so I thought why not give it a shot. I decided to redecorate just a few rooms with the valentines or should I say love touch.
I had decorated my guest room in blues this year so when I saw this blue love pillow in Homegoods I was sold! I also added a few touches of love including chocolates & rae dunn fun. Pillows have to be the best inexpensive decor item you can get that really can change the look of a room.
Next it was on to the Guest Kitchen area. This is my favorite area to decorate because its only used when company comes so its one of those rooms that I dont have to worry its going to get messed up. For those of you who have been following me you know Rae Dunn fever has taken over and my new mug rack got loveified!
If you dont have one of these mug racks you gotta check them out. Its such a fun decor item that you can change up so easily. I got mine at Laurel Grove a fabulous store here in Massachusetts. I liked that it was quite larger than the ones I saw online & it came put together. A must for this non-DIYer.
Kitchen towels are another fun item to decorate with they have so many colorful prints. I tend to use the really pretty ones for decoration only. This way you can pull them out each season to redecorate with.
What is your favorite decor area to decorate for Valentines Day? Shoot me a message I would love to hear where you get your valentines inspiration from. Want some more valentines inspiration?
